This accredited self-paced online course is designed for licensed REALTORS® in British Columbia who work with strata-titled properties and want a practical understanding of depreciation reports. The session explains what depreciation reports are, when they are required, who prepares them, and how they should be used when reviewing a strata property. Key components of a report are discussed, along with common limitations, assumptions, and warning signs that REALTORS® should be aware of. Practical guidance is provided to help REALTORS® understand how depreciation reports relate to financial planning, disclosure, financing, and client discussions when reviewing strata documentation. This session is delivered live via Zoom. Live attendance and successful completion of a required end-of-session quiz are required to receive a certificate of completion and one accredited PDP hour.
